Ravensburger Spieleland
Experience Road Safety at the MobileKids Traffic School
If you want to take home the highly sought-after kids driving license with a picture of Moki the mascot, you have to go to driving school first – just like in real life. At the Ravensburger Spieleland amusement park in Meckenbeuren, children between the ages of six and ten can now learn simple traffic rules, such as "give way to traffic on your right" and the meaning of the stop sign, through play in the theory lessons on offer at the MobileKids traffic school.
At the end of the lesson, they can put their newly acquired knowledge to the test out on the traffic school's 1,300 square-meter driving course, equipped with crossroads, road signs and traffic lights.25 electric-drive authentic replicas of the new Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster are made available for this purpose. The traffic school allows children to apply the knowledge they have picked up in the theory lessons to a real life situation from a driver's perspective and learn the rules of the road in an age-appropriate way.
Younger brothers and sisters also get their money's worth – they can learn how to be road users too by playing on the bobby car track, which is equipped with brightly colored safety tyres.
While the kids are busy out on the track, parents can also learn more about "safety in road traffic" at the MobileKids information point. The integrated touch screen terminal also has an option to visit the MobileKids-website.
