When we set up the project MobileKids in 2001, it was with the following principle in mind: safety first. Our aim remains, as it always has been, to equip children as well as adults to cope with the traffic on our roads. More than 100 projects, over 2 million participants and countless happy memories.
To mark our anniversary year, there will be something new to discover every month, including films, online games, and materials to print out as well as lots of information on the topic of road safety.
Schoolchildren are becoming more and more independent with each day, including in road traffic. Crossing the road correctly is especially challenging. We take a closer look at this in the March topic of our anniversary year.
Whether to school, during leisure time or with the family: for many children, a bus or train journey is part of everyday life. In our anniversary month of May we take a look at how to behave on public transport.
Starting off, steering, braking - children usually learn this on a bike early and without any problems. However, it takes time to become safe on the road. It takes practice, practice, practice. Having your own bike course helps and is a lot of fun.
MobileKids works to promote the issue of road safety with projects worldwide. So Moki has also seen quite a lot of traffic signs in foreign countries. This month, Moki opens his photo album and shows a wide variety of traffic signs from all over the world, many of which are funny and curious.
