Unit: Awareness

Children need to learn how to classify important and unimportant stimuli. That’s why the learning unit ‘Seeing’ trains boys’ and girls’ sense of awareness.

All road users are faced with a flood of information when on the roads. Children, in particular, can quickly become overwhelmed by this constant barrage. It is hard for them to filter out important stimuli. That’s why this unit focuses on differentiating between important and unimportant stimuli. The unit contains an exercise with add-ons and materials to sharpen children’s sense of awareness. Up to 40 children can take part in this unit, which also brings in their own experiences, such as getting to school.
