The girls and boys in 1st grade at the Uhlandschule were taught the rules of the road and learned about clothing that would make them easier for other road users to spot, even in the dark. The practical exercises were carried out with the local police, using real situations. The children and police followed the pupils' individual school routes together, looking out for potential dangers and situations to be aware of.
