From 20 to 24 February we attended the didacta 2018 fair in Hanover, the world's largest educational fair. Our stand in Hall 12 was well attended, and we were able to discuss road-safety improvements and traffic education with over 900 teachers, parents and guardians.
The highlight this year was once again our free teaching material, which we developed together with the educational publisher Klett. In several learning modules, children of primary school age can learn a great deal about safety on the way to school, how to be a good road user, and when a bicycle is safe for use on the roads. All visitors were able to order the full package directly at our stand. And for all those who were not able to attend the didacta fair, the material can also be downloaded from our website.
Along with friendly conversation and practical hints, parents were able to take away our guideline "Fit for road traffic" from our stand. We also answered all their questions concerning school bus training and the MobileKids road-safety school. Right next to ours was the stand of Genius, Daimler's young knowledge community. Our colleagues provided schools with teaching material and exciting DIY kits for various MINT subjects.
And for all teachers seeking to win a school bus training course with their road-safety project, registration for our schools campaign is still possible up to 18 May.
We wish to thank all the visitors for their great interest. See you next year!
