The Erich-Kästner Primary School in Gera is no newcomer to the MobileKids school campaign and compelled this time with a campaign on bicycle safety.

The pupils at the Eichendorff Primary School answered the question "How can I cross the road safely"? with a creative film and an audio play.

The Hermann-Butzer-Schule wins a stop on the school bus tour with their category 4 (road knowledge) project. We were particularly impressed with their answer to the question: "Why should the MobileKids school bus tour make a stop at your school?", which went as follows:

The Gudrun-Pausewang-Schule stood out in the school route planning category with their in-depth project "Getting to school and back safely – learning how to use a map".

Einrichtung Strohhalm is a facility that provides behavioural-therapy-based education for young children and youngsters in Bremerhaven who are unable to attend regular school.

In the fourth school year, the pupils at the August-Hermann-Francke Primary School Lemgo, as elsewhere, take their cycling proficiency test. It was important that all the children passed the test to increase their safety in traffic. This was discussed and agreed as the class goal.

Many strong submissions reached us again in 2016. We are therefore particularly pleased to announce four winners in four categories for the first time.

Under the motto "fun road safety training", the children of class 2a at the Otto-Dix primary school in Gera explored the area around their school. Together they learned how to deal with hazardous traffic situations.

The aim of the Franco-German Sillenbuch primary school in Stuttgart during the MobileKids school campaign 2014/2015 was to go "car-free". A lot of parents were driving their children to school and dropping them off right in front of the school – putting pupils at risk. A clever reward system encouraged parents to rethink their actions.

In the Bike Club at the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Schule in Berlin, the children learn how to cycle safely and correctly – and have plenty of fun at the same time. The project combines road safety with playful elements, setting a good example of how to stage road safety education.
